1. You will need to ask your bassoon or music teacher to write a Letter of Recommendation for you, and to email it to It should be addressed to Phillip Kolker, Director of Bassoon Week.

Our bassoon program is designed for intermediate-to-advanced college, high school and amateur players. Since each student is expected to perform one solo work, as well as to participate in both a small chamber ensemble and in the large ensemble for our final concert on Sunday, s/he must be advanced enough to prepare that much music. Because of that the letter of recommendation from each student's teacher is seriously considered.

2. Click the Application Link to access the Application Form.

3. Either email or snail mail the application along with your non-refundable application fee of $50 to the addresses shown at the bottom of the application form. If accepted to Peabody Bassoon Week, the $50 application fee will be applied to your final billing.

We accept payment either by check, money order or PayPal. Checks and money orders should be made out to "Peabody Bassoon Week." Your application will not be complete until we receive your application fee. We will notify you by email when your payment arrives.

If accepted, the balance of your tuition payment is due by May 30, 2017. Again you will receive notification when your payment is received.
